The DuMont Literatur und Kunst Verlag is one of the most renowned publishers in Germany that distributes its books internationally.
Founded in 1956 as the DuMont Kunstbuchverlag, the program of the DuMont Literatur und Kunst Verlag now encompasses literature, art, and non-fiction publications. The art program takes in exhibition catalogues, high quality illustrated books on the art history of the Renaissance to the present, artists monographs, books on art theory, photography, design, and architecture. The literary program includes works by current German and international authors, suspense, as well as poetry. The non-fiction segment includes current affairs, biographies, cultural history, travel books, and popular science.
