AXA Art insures objects in every active area of serious collecting, from paintings, drawings and sculpture to rare stamps and coins, antique furnishings, vintage wine, rare books to vintage vehicles and emerging collectibles. We serve a wide range of clients, from first-time purchasers to the world's most respected collectors, as well as individual artists, museums, cultural institutions, galleries, corporations and public exhibitions.
The expertise of AXA Art as a specialist insurance company is reflected in the high quality of advice and service delivered. With the work of its impressive number of staff Art Historians augmented by an extensive network of renowned curators, appraisers, conservators, shippers and handlers, and tax consultants - AXA Art's capabilities extends to offerings of information and guidance on display, restoration, loss prevention, security, fire protection, market valuation, proactive planning and instant disaster recovery in accordance with the standards of the Object ID. We are lending our resources to offer advice and solutions on art theft prevention and recovery measures with the assistance of the Art Loss Register (ALR) - an international data base of stolen art objects.

In addition to its partnerships with leading international art fairs and exhibitions around the world, AXA Art has worked to advance cutting edge conservation research and procedures, through initiatives such as The AXA ART Conservation Research Grant. A recipient of the award, the Vitra Design Museum, worked over three years to develop methods and techniques to analyse art objects made of plastic and explore ways to extend their longevity. AXA Art is now supporting research of acrylic paintings with the "Tate AXA Art Modern Paints Project" in collaboration with Tate London.
